iTunes and QuickTime

I downloaded iTunes (included QuickTime 7.1) to see what all the fuss is about, didn't like it and uninstalled it (QuickTime remained, as I had it before anyway).

Now when I run HiJackThis, a new entry appears under services:

O23 - Service: InstallDriver Table Manager (IDriverT) - Macrovision Corporation - C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Driver\11\Intel 32\IDriverT.exe

IDriverT.exe is only supposed to run when installing a new program.

I checked services (right click on "my computer" - manage - services and applications - services - 'install driver table'). The startup is set to manual, so I can't figure out why it seems to run at all times.

Any ideas?

When you install Itunes it installs apple Software Update (listed on start\programs\apple software update). That may be what is running.

run msconfig and see what is running there.
