mother board settings

Iam just beginning to build a computer for the first time, and was given a case and a mother board the number on the board is GV 20030812 are there any info on this board for the settings at start up ???

Welcome to G2G

The board you have been given is from an eMachines system & therefore no actual motherboard manual is available from what I can tell.
However, this board uses the Intel 845GV chipset & I have found an Intel manufactured board which not only uses this chipset but also looks the same as the one you have.
