can not complete adaware scan

I am trying to get the process started so I can post a log but can not complete the adaware scan
it stops at
c:\programfiles\Sonic\MyDVD\errorstrings\ENU\win

any suggestions?

any thoughts on this. I can not get past the 1st step for removing malaware. Thank you
