hey i was wondering which is better 7800GT or 7600GT i guess that the 7800 would be better but when i look at specs im not sure as the core clock and memory clock are much higher on the 7600 was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or know of any good comparison websites etc.

A lot of the video card builders overclock to get higher core and memory speeds. This helps but what really counts are the pipelines. The 7600 has 12 pipelines while the 7800 has 20. With almost double the pipelines you can see the speed difference between them when playing a game. Granted its not a lot of difference but to some gamers it does make the difference. I have one gamer that buys every new card that comes out if its faster. I do get some good deals on his used 2 month old cards. heres a explanation of pipelines.

the 7800gt is going to be faster of course but the 7600gt has a really good price here in the usa right now, but you dont live in the usa so the prices will be different where you live.

The 7600gt is considered a MID end card and the 7800gt is considered a high end card.
