ive had my wcg200 taken away and replaced with a netgear tha thas no power button, wcg814wg V2, i cant even connect to any of my [bleep] games tha tinvolve network PVP , i get whats called an (agent error). basically on there screen im standnig still, where on mine i can watch them fight and interact, its as if i cant send data but i can recieve it -.-. and my norton firewall cant be doing it because icheck logs to see if any thing is blocked and nada... so all in all

does this thing suck [bleep] or is ther some godlike invisible setting

Do your games require you to open ports? No doubt that this router has an internal firewall, which is blocking you. All you need to do is open a few ports, we just need to know which ones.

i have portforwarded.. perhaps i need to port triggeR? and im signed up under teh DMZ thing

Try different combinations. It ultimately comes down to your router model and your ISP.

sigh, theres no easy way around it other than calling comcast and telling them this router sucks too?

Well, usually, if you bought it from them, they'll walk you though the process. If no, you have to contact the router manufacturer.

i googled this and there are many ppl who called both netgear and comcast, comcast does there own firmware so netgear themselves cant help... , the ppl i read for just bought a new modem, darn it guess i have to aswell

yup... i have the SAME problem... its the router.. and i even open ports that are needed... but nothing... i hate this router... comcast doesnt know $%#^ bout it either

Hi all I have the same darm problem I was stuck on the phone with comcast for over 2 hours didn't help the tech guy came out and after 3 hours he said he didn't know what to do to fix it then tol me to go buy another Router! Well isn't That Just friggin Great!
