Okay, I'm sure I'm being an idiot and have completely missed something, but I haven't managed to find out anything via google and thought I'd see if anyone here can give me a hand.

I often use a proxy to connect to the net, I've got several programs that can do it for me but generally I just change lan settings.

Although I seem to be able to use the net just fine (it's a little slower, but that's to be expected I guess), I can't login to anything. It worked once and I was able to login to anything and now, using the same proxy, I don't seem to be able to. My setup hasn't changed at all so I'm confused.

Does anyone know why this is? It seems like something incredibly simple that I'm just not aware of but I don't know....
