I downloaded the trojanhunter to scan my pc. However, the setup won't close.

The window states:

"please wait while setup installs trojanhunter on you computer"
"registering files"

The program has already loaded and is running. It has now been several hours.

I have tried "x" it out- nothing, just beeps at me.
I lave tried right clicking -nothing.

I have even tried rebooting my pc - nothing.

It just sits in the middle of my desktop.

Help!

Hi, did you download this from the manufacturer's website, or from a P2P source?

I downloaded it directly from this website, under the "Malware/Spyware steps to try first" section.

I finally tried the clt/alt/del, and was able to remove it.

Thank you for responding and your help.

Malware staff may be able to help you with this issue, since this is an Anti-Malware program. I understand this is a program, and it is an application, but Malware Staff have more experience with this program. If they can't tell you how to fix it, come back here, and we will try to fix it for you.
