I have win98se and when trying to start it up I got "CANT FIND WIN.COM UNABLE TO LOAD WINDOWS" or something like that. My floppy drive doesnt work (even before this happened) this is what ive tried so far...
I went into the autoexec.bat file and I saw "path c:\windows;c:\windows\command" with someother stuff after it. Isnt that the right path?

Help I am not completely pc ignorant but I dont know much about PATHS and stuff like that but I know how to follow instructions. This is my moms pc shes an Attorney and her entire bussiness is on it.

HELP! :tazz:

win.com is in the c:\windows directory so your path is correct.

If windows cannot find the file, it has been moved or deleted or damaged.

Do you have a windows 98 cd?
