Media Centre TV not working properly

My Windows Media Centre seems to have developed a fault, because all of a sudden I can no longer watch TV through it. Whenever I go to live TV, or pick a program to watch via GUIDE, i get a black screen, with a jittery blue border and sometimes the channel information panel frozen in the bottom left hand corner.

It gets even weirder, as I still get audio, it is only video that isn't working?!?!
Also, MCE freezes so that I am stuck at this black screen and have to Ctrl+Alt+Del or Alt+Tab to get out of the program. I don't think its a hardware fault as Nero Recorder can still pick up a signal.

I appreciate any help,
