I really need some help and I can't find the answers.

I stopped using Norton because Ghost crashed my system so I started using Freedom that comes with Adelphia.net, which encountered two things.

The first one was W32/methodbod.gen, which I still haven't figured out how I got it, what it is or how to remove.

Then I started to receive W32/Behavior:Self Starter Internet Trojan! Maximus which Freedom also stated that it was:

Infected File: C:\SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION\_RESTORE{145A78D9-30F3-4441-A76F-9F54405CDEA6}\RP529\A0043869.EXE

C:\SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATION\_RESTORE{145A78D9-30F3-4441-A76F-9F54405CDEA6}\RP529\A0043869.EXE

Does someone know about these and if so, could you tell me what they are, how I may have gotten them and can remove them and what's the best downloadable product I can use to protect my system from this in the future and where to locate the product. :whistling:

I would really appreciate it.
