I am unable to view the source of any webpage.Whenever I click on View>Source( or right click>View Souce) ,nothing happens.I have deleted my temporary files, cookies ,etc. but still can't solve this problem.

Under Tools>Internet Options>Programs>HTML editor ,MS-Word was selected so I changed it back to notepad.I have also checked under C:\windows\system32 to make sure that notepad.exe was present there.

Any suggestions?

Switch to Firefox. or Opera.
Even the former MS Security Strategist has (switched to mozilla)

Maybe Mozilla recruited her because of this

Even being this bad, which isn't all that bad at all, Mozilla is still miles ahead of IE.

You could also try to upgrade to the IE7 beta browser, I've tried it, it's OK, but still not for me.
