I'm fixing a computer for my neighbor, got her new ram, mobo, processor, and video card and just using her old drives. Even got her a new power supply.

After about 5 minutes, the computer will turn off. Doesn't matter if i'm in BIOS or if windows has loaded. Computer will just shut off.

Could it be the mobo settings, or a faulty powersupply? Please help!

Hi. I suggest checking cpu temperature to begin with. Here is a good guide that will help you figure out if it is shutting down because it is getting too hot. http://forums.amd.co...showtopic=11807

In that five minutes, can you navigate to the BIOS and find the temperatures? I've heard people say that the temps reported by the motherboard/CPU can be way off but in my limited experience they've always been fairly accurate. Certainly accurate enuf to help figure out whether your temps are running away from you or not. Try to get to that BIOS screen and just watch it til the PC trips.
