I have been infected by the "Email-Worm.Win32.Brontok.q" worm.

In each folder in my 'My Documents', there is a subfolder icon with the
identical name to its parent folder. They are all actually exe files, all with a
datestamp saying that they were created on October 17, 2005 at 8:17 am.

If I try to run hijackthis, my computer restarts. I have downloaded kaspersky
lab's program, but it says that 'registry enabling has been disabled by the
administrator', before shutting down. I can't even access the geekstogo forum
without my computer automatically restarting.

:whistling: Gotcha!

Got to geekstogo on a friend's computer, read the "You Must Do This"...

To cut a long story short Ewido completely eradicates brontok. I hope this helps anyone else who gets infected.
