But, I have restored it back to 1st May 2005, so can get back on line for more instructions..

No Gaz the restores didnt solve the problem, when I got back to 1st May 2005 th pc still wouldnt shut down from the screen.

But I did download those drivers that Peterm suggested, and it shut down from the screen ok. Yippee!!

Would just like to say a BIG THANK YOU to you for all the time you have spent helping me.

But don't go anywhere cos I reckons I will be back on here very soon.lol.

Hi there and apart from Lizzie, you guys don't know me from Adam. I have known Lizz for almost more years than I would like to remember. I would like to add my thank you for helping this lovely lady to get back to her gin without having to worry about turning off her PC.
Lizz likes to turn off her PC fairly frequently, - like every time I come on line but jocking aside (why) I think Lizz got a raw deal and now, thanks to you its getting sorted.
Great news Lizz, glad you got it all sorted with the help of all the great techies here.
