Programs cannot connect to the internet

Hi, I am running xp and directly connected to a belkin 54g router then to a motorola modem

Comcast is my isp

my firefox and thunderbird work perfectly with the internet, however my rhapsody and itunes cannot connect to the internet. so i cannot access the itunes music store or update my podcasts :whistling:

I have turned the firewall off on my router and on my xp and when the xp firewall was on i made sure itunes was allowed access

I allowed firewall access to the itunes installer before reinstalling itunes... nothing happened

both of these programs work perfectly on my laptop when i connect to the router wirelessly

what is wrong?
