Hi there,

You know on a laptop when you first get it, when you use the volume adjustment/ shortcut key, a display appears on the screen to show you how much you are increasing/ decreasing it by etc.? well mine suddenly just stopped showing up, but it was well useful.

On the chat room, Fenor said it would be to do with disabling start up items, so here is a hjt of my start up:

Heya Ben,

From what I have been able to find out, you can download a program called Dell QuickSet, which will allow create a system tray icon and allow you to change certain settings in your Dell Laptop. You can download Dell QuickSet from HERE.

Let me know if it works.
