Its either that you video card doesnt have open gl or you may just need to update your video card.

What kind of video card is it anyways??

Update the drivers and make shure you have the latest directx.

Call of Duty is different hihassan, It has no option at all in the video settings in game menu to select directx or open gl at all.. I have the game. If you dont have open gl you cant play the game.. Or if your card is outdated without the supported opengl.

Your thinking about alot of the other older games that lets you select from opengl or direct3d... Alot of the newer games lets you change from directx 9 and below..

Yeah I have seen some instances to where someone updated from directx 9.0b to 9.0c and there integrated video card worked for example..

You could try to reinstall the game. If it still doesnt work its the video card.

I was just making an example in the above post to clarify it to hihassan... It didnt really pertain to you Garrett08.

If you already updated your video card drivers and you made shure that you have the latest directx9 then the only way to get cod playable would be getting a new video card that supported the game... I dont see why your video card shouldnt be able to play it.. I have seen even the intel xtreme integrated graphics able to play cod on low settings..

No, you dont have to use a cd at all for a video card.... Goto the manufacturers website to download the latest drivers... What comes on the cd is the older video card drivers that were out at the time you bought the video card.. If you goto the manufacturers website its the same thing but newer drivers..
