Hi all,

I am trying to help someone setup their new PC and they are all setup then i get a call saying that he has ballsed it up...

He has set the background as Mickey Mouse! and now it won't go away...
The options are all there, but if you select another picture it just flashes for a split second or sometimes not at all, then your back with mickey again!

Anyone know how to fix this, looking for a reg key remover or something... To return all desktop settings to standard and remove the wallpaper...

Im not sure if i will be able to get back on here, ***edited out*** is my addy :whistling:

Cheers all,

I would check and see what THEME is setup is the display properties. Alot of custom themes that people download don't allow the background picture to be changed while that theme is in use.

Also it could be an active desktop image splashed over the background

this is a runbox command

press: winkey + r button
type: desk.cpl
press: enter
click: desktop
click: customize desktop
click: web
see if there is your unmovable image, if so delete it.
