i do not know what kind of attack i am under but the symptom is clicking on a new IE page and have it come up blank and then freezing.

here's my system. windows XP, windows home version 2002, service pak 2, intel pentium
CPU 3.20Gh, 1.00GB RAM

ANY IDEAS WHAT THIS IS ANDHOW TO FIX IT? many thanks
