help my shiftkey wont work its not sticky keys i think its hardware im not sure what it is [its on a laptop and the warranty is in a different country]

what should i do

Hi. Try plugging in an external keyboard and see if it works properly. This well help us determine if its the keyboard or the system with the issue.

i cant i dont have a usb keyboard and it doesnt have the ps2 port. thnx for the help anyway. my dad keeps telling me its a sticky keys thing but i checked that.

I would use one of those cotton sticks one sticks in one ear very slightly damp and gently does it. btw what happens when you use the other shift key then?

dont worry it works now it turned out to be software. when it didnt work it was both of them.
