HI,
i had a problem running the installation part of the disk i then got it working and installed it but now when im going to run the game it comes up saying
"Failed to find any DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in the system please make sure you have a DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have tinstalled the latest drivers provided by the manufacturer. the application will now termenate."
Iwent to Direct x website and they say i have all the appropriate stuff i need please help me i need to play my game. lolol

Did you install Direct X 9.0c? Which video card do you have?

Hello haphuong1712,

First of all the graphics card you have isn't supported by the game.
Second make sure you've got the latest drivers installed for your graphics card. You should be able to download these from the laptop manufacturers website.

Thanks for your reply , now i have done with that problem , it doesn't show that error again and I can play the sims 2 , but when I'm buy anything from the bathroom (a toilet ..ect) the game freezes and then the blue screen with some error with the ati2dvag.dll file . How can I solve this problem ?? I downloaded and installed the file from http://h20000.www2.h...ectID=c00368047 but it is still the same .. Help me , I want to play the sims 2 so muchh !!

Try installing this driver it's the newest.

Download the file, uninstall your existing driver via add/remove programs in control panel, restart your PC and then install the new one.

My ATI driver is the driver you said but it still got that problem . Now I have to load an exist house to put my sims in , and try not to buy anything from the bathroom things .

Do you have any custom content?

Try uninstalling the driver and reinstall it again.
Also try installing this motherboard chipset driver.
