Sound issues

Okay so I thought getting a new sound card would fix the crackling sound issues I experience during the cutscenes of a few games - The Matrix : Path of Neo, Lord of the Rings : Battle for Middle Earth 2, X-Men : The Official Game - but it didn't.

Anyway what I got was a Sabrent 6-Channel 5.1 3D Surround Sound PCI Card and the issues still haven't been resolved. Just throw in any suggestions, worst case scenario I have to skip cutscenes, but cutscenes do make some games... :whistling:

Hi. Have you tried updating your card drivers from the manufacturer's website? Also, check your speaker connections. Perhaps the speakers are at fault...
