Hey,

My Lexmark X1150 printer works perfectly but I always get a communication problem with it as soon as i turn on the computer or switch users.

(See attached picture)

The only way for me to get the printer to work again is to unplug the usb cable from the computer or printer and then reconnect it...and then it works perfectly.

I dont know why it does this but I think it may have something to do with the usb cable (2-3 meters long).

Can anyone help here?

Cheers :whistling:

Find a shorter USB cable, it's generally not recommended to use one more than about 2m in length.
