Please read through the instructions before you start (you may want to print this out).

You are running an out-of-date version of HijackThis; can you please download a new copy (there is a link in my signature), unzip it, and replace your existing copy with the new version.

Download CW-Shredder at the link below:
CWShredder , unzip it, and save it on the Desktop.

Run CWShredder to fix your CWS problem.

Please set your system to show all files; please see here if you're unsure how to do this.

Close all programs leaving only HijackThis running. Place a check against each of the following, making sure you get them all and not any others by mistake:

Using Windows Explorer, locate the following files/folders, and delete them:

C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe<-- Delete this file if found

Exit Explorer, and reboot as normal afterwards.

Post back a fresh HijackThis log and we will take another look.

Firstly, i believe i got the new version of this hijackthis. Secondly, when i fixed those files like u said, i cant find this file anymore.

C:\WINDOWS\zeta.exe

Thirdly, theres a backup of those fixed files, can i delete the folder? 4 of them altogether.

Lastly, heres the new log. Let me know if there are other errors.

Recently my comp seems to be restarting whenever i tried opening some random programs. Not frequent, but every once in a while. Any idea wads wrong? Could it already have been deleted?

Im pretty afriad of this website. i recalled some 4 months ago, i used that to scan, and it got some viruses, but removed them together with my startup programs, so much so i cant even get to the desktop =/

It seems like if the virus is attached to the critical programs, it just delete it nevertheless. Can this happen again? =/

Ok, this log is taken with the trend mirco scan going. I've fixed the one u mentioned :

hmm,this is weird. I just finished scanning with trend housecall, and theres no virus found.

Could there be other reasons as to why my comp restarts itself?

Seems like occasionally if i open a file, it just restarts, theres no countdown wadsoever =/

no its not... sometimes its IE, sometimes it my game icons.

could it be because of my graphic card? probably lose or something? just my guess =/

btw, this only happens today, and i downloaded sockscap and a proxy finder from downloads.com. sockscap is from its official website. But i thought it could be the proxy that might be doing the trick, tho i have them shutdown, so to be safe, i just deleted them =/

It is possible that a driver may have been Corrupted, try system restore go back to where you where not having any problem.

Then post back and we see if there is any improvement.
