I'm not terribly computer savve (or I probably wouldn't be here now asking for help) so all I can tell you is the progression of events as my limited scope understands it.

The computer I'm on his, apparently, two operating systems ... Windows XP and Windows server (or something) I am currently on the latter. Origionally I was using XP and had tried to install daemon tools to mount an ISO. That apparently was my mistake.

After restarting the computer to continue installation instead of booting up XP it gave me the message that C\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM.SAV was missing or corrupt and instructed me to use the origional install disc to repair it. I don't think I have it anymore, unfortunately. At this point, and it doesn't take much, I am completely flabbergasted and at a total loss. I would very much appreciate any kind of guidance. Thanks.
