No colors in sockets.

Only with msconfig, startup, disable all, replace the ticks for the firewall, anti virus and any anti spyware programmes, click apply, reboot and tick do not start the configuration utility when windows loads

Check the firewall, anti virus and anti spyware programmes are running

I can't fgure out what is wrong with my mic,
reinstalled the sound drivers, also reinstalled Sound MAx
But nothing will not work.
please help.

went to control panel advanced options and unchecked the mute.
tried the sound check option in sound max.

don't know what else to do.
please help.
