This is a Riddle so let's see how quick you all can answer it

Remember To work it out carefully with lots of counting

Riddle - As I was going to St. Ives

As I was going to St. Ives I met a man with seven wives,
Each wife had seven sacks, each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits: kits, cats, sacks and wives,
How many were going to St. Ives?

Yes correct....Well done... Wannabe1 your a Genius :whistling:

But you really have to vocalise this as you get a better response from your audience they don't get a chance to realise that it is in fact very simple.

This type of conundrum is now referred to as a logic problem in lateral thinking designed to improve the logic and deductive skills of children, and indeed, adults!

Sorry...thought the first line kinda gave it away... :whistling:

Think of words ending in -GRY. Angry and hungry are two of them. There are only three words in the English language. What is the third word? The word is something that everyone uses every day. If you have listened carefully, I have already told you what it is.

The last one was good here another one to try

Pronounced as one letter,
And written with three,
Two letters there are,
And two only in me.
I'm double, I'm single,
I'm black, blue, and gray,
I'm read from both ends,
And the same either way.

What am I?

My life can be measured in hours;
I serve by being devoured.
Thin, I am quick; fat, I am slow.
Wind is my foe.

What am I?

Yeah your post is a bit slow tonight well done...

Yes correct....A candle.... Well Done

I give you a group of three.
One is sitting down and will never get up.
The second eats as much as is given to him, yet is always hungry.

The third goes away and never returns. What are they?
