[removed link to old version]

Also, the ISO does no good without a key.

The official link to the latest BETA is here:

This build (5728) has a number of improvements and updates from RC1, but has not been put through the same internal testing process as RC1 and therefore may be unstable in certain installations. We are making this release available for a limited time only (and only by download) in order to get broad distribution and testing in a variety of PC configurations. Please note: This build may not have the same level of support or servicing via Windows Update, and you may not be able to upgrade to the final version of Windows Vista.

I've been seeing problems with this build already...particularly in it's removal if it proves unstable.

I was last running vuild 5536, pre-rc1. I didn't really notice anything with it except some possible performance tweeks that were needed, especially with the UI. Build 5728 offers the performance tweaks.

Somethings I've experienced today while playing with it:
Had issues getting any av to install. Even if they were versions that were vista compatabile. I have a new version of etrust to install, just haven't gotten to it yet.

Office 2007 beta 2 would not install. Fiddeled around with it for a while and managed to get as far as the liscence agreement and the program just quit. no messages or anything.

3com 3c905-ctx is still not supported as an included driver to vista. I use the xp drivers to everything working. Windows update provides the updated driver.

Been using 5728 for a little while and I think it is perfectly fine. It is stable and is also faster than 5600. Also the problem with my printer not printing from Photo Gallery has been fixed.
