Can you provide me a link to one of the downloads that failed? Please....not from bearshare... :whistling:

My test has been Quicktime Viewer

:whistling: :help: Just as a side note - I have had no probs with dowloading from Bearshare - just in case that help at all :) :blink:

what happens if you go to menu>tools>downloads or going ctrl+j??

The download menu appears

But it is empty - even just after hitting the dowmnlaod button on Quicktime

What about reinstalling firefox? first save your bookmarks though....

This is a truly wierd problem.

Create a folder on the desktop and name it downloads

Open Firefox, click on "Tools" on the toolbar, and choose "Options..."

Click on the Downloads icon and change the Download Folder to the one you just created on the desktop using the "Browse" button.

Try a download and then check the new download folder...is the download there?
