I recently had a start up error with my copmuter, (missing hal and ntoskrnl files) so i eventually put in my Windows XP recovery cd and did a repair install. So now the comptuer will boot up but when it gets to the windows installing screen, the keyboard and mouse dont work and it has a pop-up window saying i need asms files. Is there anyway someone can help with this? :whistling:

USB keyboard and mouse?

Find a PS/2 keyboard and/or mouse, shut the system down and restart.
