I thing I was jumping the gun (if that is a correct expression :help: )
After rebooting 2 times my CDdrive is up and running again.
But now it's getting a bit late (Belgium).
I think I'm getting into bed an give the overburning an other try tomorrow after work.

Thanks alot Keith, for the effort you are given me! :whistling:

The version 'Nero 7 Premium Reloaded v.7.5.02 - ISO - Multilanguage' is not working with my Windows Me OS.
Perhaps it would be better if I was running XP as an OS. Than I have recent updates as wel.
But I'm a bit afraid that my pc will be going alot slower.
I have a pentium 4; 256Mbyte RAM; 1,5GHz; 40Gbyte harddrive.

Has anyone a pc with similar configuration as me and is running XP?
Is your pc rather slow?

the file I want to write is 719.650kByte or +- 702,78Mbyte.
It's an avi-file and if I could reduce it to a smaler file (<702Mbyte) that would be fine, but I would like it to be an avi-file so I can play it on my standalone DVDplayer.
I' ve already tryed Easy Video splitter, but then the sound and picture aren't synchroon anymore.

It should be an MPEG file to play on the DVD player

Click start smart, click make your own dvd movie, click make movie, browse to add the file, then click the blue symbol next to the blue + to detect scenes, set the sensitivity to high, set the minimum scene length to 1 second, let it run, click to generat the scenes, click the little plus next to the clip, click scene 1 then press and hold the ctrl button, press the A key so they all highlight, click the blue + so they go to the timeline

Look through the clip for bits you can remove

Click a frame then press the delete key

When you have removed the bits you do not need, click the first frame, click export

The file will be in Nerovision, exported video, it will be a new file and you will still have the original file

See what size the exported video is

Alternatively, click start smart, click make your own dvd movie, click add files, add the file, check it is set to automatic fit to disc

No Mpeg. I have a DVDplayer that can play divx files.
And I don't even have a DVDwriter.
