With a lot of patience you guys have helped me to remove an anoying static.egwn.net pop-up. Thanks again for your help.
Somohow, all those scans and registry clean-ups seem to have destroyed or damaged the Flash player - none of the web sites that require Flash are working.
The "manage add-ons" window of IE6 shows Flash in a "add-ons that have been used by IE" list, but not in a "add-ons currently loaded in IE". Repeated attempts to download Flash from http://www.adobe.com...=ShockwaveFlash were unsuccesfull - the download page states that Flash player has been installed, whereas the sistes that require it still do not work.
What is going on? Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.
