I copied and pasted web page downloaded into a word document.

Know every time i open MSword the web page appears and i cannot remove it.

even when i click the icon new blank document the web page i downloaded appears all the time
the only way to delete the web page i found was to higlite the web page and press the delete button.

I think I can help you.

Without Word running search for a file called "normal.dot" and delete it.

It's the standard document template for Word and once you remove it another blank one will be created.

i put normal.dot into search result and look in Local Hard Drives (C:) search result and came up with nil result.

Did you include hidden and system files

i have office 2000
i type in hidden and system files into search for files and folders came up zero

Hidden and system files is a search option, click start, search, all files and folders, more advanced options, tick to include hidden and system files

there was 3internet explorer browser with 2 ms word in the search results deleted all except1
normal.dot file Type is microsoft word wizard which cannot delete file . cannot read from file the source file or disk.
i open MS Word and i have clear page

Just thinking about it, you remane it to normal.old then reboot and Word creates a new one, sorry

However, if it is running well now, no need to do anything with it
