I have spent all weekend working on my Wife's comp to clean out the Spyware and Trojans and Viruses...something happened Friday night and have no Idea who went where but...

I have run ad-aware, spybot, Panda, Norton A/V, all reported bad things and removed them, but they kept coming back.

The first 2 lines in my Log Ad-Aware picks up, but can not remove them.

If I remove them from HJT, they come back.

I am at the end of my rope

Hello

Please download ComboFix and save it to your desktop.
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's done running it will produce a log for you. Please post that log in your next reply.

Important Note - Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

It was still left over from Web-Nexus it seems, and I was able to get rid of that, but to be safe I ran combofix for a look see

Were you able to fix those two lines in Hijackthis? Yes those are from webnexus,and referred to as the Qoologic trojan.

You should delete these files:
C:\WINNT\system32\wcptr.exe
C:\WINNT\yzd.exe
C:\WINNT\ewwsetup.exe
C:\WINNT\icond.exe

Yes, I did not notice on the pop-ups that they are nice enough to put at the bottom to 'Click here to learn how to remove'...after I did that, I ran hijackthis and removed those to lines.

I also deleted the files you suggested

notice on the pop-ups that they are nice enough to put at the bottom to 'Click here to learn how to remove'.

Isnt that nice of them. They cram it onto your system without you knowing then give you a way to get it off with thier pop ups

Your log looks fine. I am presuming you have ran alot of scanners so I dont feel another is need, if the computer is behaving I think you are good to go, just let me know
