CD-ROM wont open

Well i dropped my laptop and my cd drive wont open and i was wondering if there was anyway to anually open it or something or do i have to send it in to my manufacturer. Any help is apprecaited.

Hi. Do you see a small hole on the front of the drive? I want you to flatten a paperclip (straighten it). Now, stick that paperclip in that hole and push inward softly yet firmly. The drive should pop open. If it doesn't work, don't force it.
