FYI... I have run all the following: Kaspersky, AdAware Se, SpyBot, and Ewido all in SAFE mode with all reporting clean. I have run Trend, MS Defender, Bit Defender and Windows Security Trojan Scan, Vundo fix. All reporting clean.

When surfing the net within a few minutes a page comes up trying to redirect to:

http://ht tp://www.amaena.com/secur..._amnt1&lid=http wanting to add active X control. Saying it found a trojan and to clean go to that page.

Then all slows down until reboot.

thanks in advance:

Hi and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Sam and I will be helping you. :whistling:

Please download ComboFix and save it to your desktop.
Double click combofix.exe and follow the prompts.
When it's done running it will produce a log for you. Please post that log in your next reply.

Important Note - Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.

Buckeye-

My Kaspersky did find a few items, finally. After cleaning things seem to be back to normal for now. I'll let it be for now. Thanks for the info.
