When i load up my computer i get options to boot into XP or Vista, but Vista is there twice. Is there a way to clean that up so it only shows one of the Vista boot options.

Unfortunately no not easily, you will still have to use the same commands.
And without access to your PC it would be problematic at the very least (although someone might have a go)....

Microsoft have changed the boot method so that you have to use the command line to change things.

Until someone creates a third-party tool you'll have to do it as that article dictates.

Sorry.
