Have tried several ways of getting rid of virtumonde and winfixer on my daughter's laptop. Will try your instructions next. Am wondering if these problems would have deleted her printer and will not let us load it again. Thanks!

Hi techteacher8 and Welcome to GeekstoGo!

Please Start Here and download HijackThis.

Do a System Scan and Save a Logfile.

Please download Combofix to your desktop.
http://download.blee...Bs/combofix.exe

Doubleclick combo.exe to launch the application.

Follow the prompts that will be displayed on the screen.

Don't click on the window while the fix is running, because that will cause your system to hang.

When finished, it should produce a log, combofix.txt

Post those 2 logs in the next reply,please.
