I have a computer that continually crashes. It works for about 1-2 days then when you shut it down and start it back up it comes up saying there is a problem with the config.sys file and bla bla bla. Standard windows junk.

Doing a XP repair will take care of the problem, but doing a repair every two days is somewhat annoying. I cannot find anything in the event viewer to corrospond.

So here, is my question:
Is there something I can run in XP that will give me a clue on how to see if this is going to happen, or is there a fix.

This has happened in XP Home and Pro SP1.

Any help would be great.

Thanks
