Hello again.

I was checking my firewall the other day and found it not to be there.
I have windows xp home edition and sp2.
I tried to start it myself and it said that I needed to do a restore to fix my WMI.
I tried to do a rewstore and found out it didn't work because of a missing file.
The framedyn.dll was missing from the C:/windows/system32/wbem folder.
I downloaded one and put it there and then I cound restore.
I restored back and everything was the same no help.

I don't know what happened.
I did a harddisK scan a few days before the trouble was noticed and I did an online scan with bit torent to see If my antivirus was working good or let anything slip by.

Any ideas are welocme.

Could I fix this problem with a repair and Can I repair without losing my information on my computer?

All I have is a set if 3 disk that comme with my emachine computer.

Thanks for any info.
Later
