Hi Jessiejones69
In my signature there is a link to a free 30 day trial of tune up
Download this file. On the run the disk cleaner and registry cleaner
both on the second tab. Then on the optimize and improve tab run the registry defrag

this isn't going to help all of your problems but check this thread. having a program to free memory will go a long way to speeding up your computer.

http://www.geekstogo...em-t131232.html

For the rest of the problems you'll have to be a bit more specific.

The pictures etc are fine because we are not clearing the drive / deleting anything

Did tune up fix anything

Can you click start, programmes, accessories, system tools, system information, tools, system file check

Have a pen and paper, run the file check, click skip when it asks to replace a file, note which ones, post the number when the scan is complete

Once those files are replaced then you can also look at rebuilding the registry if needed

If you posted an HJT Log they should get back to you

If it is over 3 days the post a link to the HJT log here

http://www.geekstogo..._Room-f100.html

If the missing files are responsible, the only place to get them is from a 98 CD
