Upon booting up the computer the windows installer opens and tries to install a program originally loaded on the computer several years ago but for which we have no disk. The installer then tells us to load the disk. In attempting to remove the program itself, we receive a message stating that the program cannot be removed.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
