I just bought a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 1000 (USB). When i plug it in my USB port, it works fine, however, when my computer boots up, my mouse doesn't work. I have to unplug and plug it back in for my PC to recognize it, at which point it works fine.

I've purchase a USB-to-Mouse adapter hoping that it would fix the problem, but no luck. I installed Intellipoint 5.5, but again, no luck.

Does anyone know the solution???

Thanks!!!

do u have usb1.1 ports or 2.0 ports? and have you tried using different usb ports? Check under your bios to see if there's an option with enabling us on boot.

I have USB 2.0, and yes, i've tried all six ports (the 4 in the back and the 2 up front). Tried playing in the bios, but again no luck.

Is there anything i'm missing? Perhaps a registry key, or something to that effect?

Thanks!!
