Just wondering if someone can help me.

One of my friends has forgotten the password to log onto his laptop. The reminder hint rings the bell, but he's tried a few different ones that he can remenber but nothing!Can't log on.

any suggestions???Is there some way of logging on and changing the password.

PS: a few things have been replaced on the laptop but nothing to do with the software.
