Hello

I would really appreciate some help, I have been unable to boot my PC and not sure if the Trojan virus is to blame. When I boot the PC the screen is black and windows does not startup.

I have been able to boot in safe mode but not with networking. Once in safe mode I ran the AVG antivirus and this identified the Trojan 1stbar.9.at virus. The AVG antivirus reported that the virus had been found but did not clean or delete it.

Is there a way of getting rid of this virus and is this causing the problem, or is there a problem with the screen drivers, I am not sure what the best way is to tackle this and would appreciate any advice.

Thanks in advance
