What's hilarious :tazz:

If you fail to spot what is hilarious, please don't advice anybody on anything anymore. Hide in a corner, stay really quiet.
Here comes your explanation:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 SUCKS COMPLETELY, you say, like every version before it.
And then you turn around and advice someone to use FireFox
because it is most like IE6. So you're advising people to use something that behaves most likes something that sucks completely.
I would immediately take your advice! ;) NOT! ;)

Get it now?

Well i never said it behaved like ie as far as looks and style it is most like IE but firefox performance is much better, compared to IE almost flawless of course everyone will have some problem with any browser that is a given but IE by far is the most troublesome not including other small off brands that i may not have heard of or tried. ??OK??:tazz: ;)

Hey last thing i will post but one of your own moderators posted this:

1. Use ANY browser besides Internet Explorer, almost every exploit is crafted to take advantage of an IE weakness. We usually recommend FireFox user posted image.

OOOOO :tazz: OOOOO

I don't know what filthy corners of the internet some people hang out in, but my IE serves me fine. Sure, I got the occasional popup. Then my favourite searchengine came with a toolbar. Really handy for quick searches, and guess what, it also blocked popups.

Again, IE is the most attacked browser because it is the most used browser. When you're a bored little tosser and you think it's cool to mess up other peoples systems, you don't go for that one guy who is still running lynx. Nor for the small group that runs Galeon or whatever. You want most effect, so you go for the biggest boy on the block.
Now if everybody switches to FireFox, which is also created by humans, and therefor flawed, the previously mentioned little (equivalent of amoebe) will aim its attacks at biggest. Which will then be FireFox (version 12.0.9 or something).
Changing browser is symptom-fighting.
It only works for a while.
( But if everybody switches to FireFox, I will be completely safe with the next version of IE :tazz: Thanks switchers! )

So I am not running with the hype and immediately yelling "Dump IE! It blows and sucks at the same time!!" ( it is apparently based on the JET engine ). Actually I'm just sitting here and waiting for the first FirFox attacks to take place. Just to prove me right.
Imagine what sneaky things you can figure out when you have the source-code of an application. You can go through it line by line and find all the flaws. And exploit them.

It may be the browser, but only for a part. Most guilty is of course the person who writes the malicious applications, but an immediate next is the user who clicks everything that reads "Click me". Or who leaves everything open when he goes searching for P0RN ( childish filter, it just happens to be called that, is the name Ilona Staller also filtered? ) , warez or mp3's.

Again, FireFox is a fine browser, with some very nice features. It is however not heaven's gift. Neither is Internet Explorer. Or any other browser.
100% safe is not having a network connection.

"They are not my moderators" ;)
"Moderators don't hold the universal truth, just the option to kick you off the board"

And please keep on posting. I don't want to shut up anybody.
( Well honesty be told, some people I would really like to shut up, alas, they are not on the board :) ).

Enjoy ;)

Ok sorry but i had to post another. Ojoshiro's last post made a very good point despite all of the previous posts i couldnt have said it better myself i understand your faith in IE but i now know you understand where im comig from on the whole issue i agree completely that no browser is forever safe or invulnerable to attacks because some people use their training for evil not good. And sorry i miss worded that post "a moderator" not yours :tazz: but they are good at helping you clean your machine back to working order i just had a serious problem caused by iexplore.exe.
