I have a toshiba laptop with windows 98 operating system. What must I do to be able to use my computer to acess the internet when I'm on a trip somewhere? Thanks. nodel

as long as you have a wireless adapter in the computer...generally to access public access points....all you need to do is turn it on...once it detects the networks in range...you can choose the one to connect to....some hotels have a passcode that you get with your key...once you connect to their wireless network...it will bring you to a webpage that allows you to enter this code...and then you can browse the internet....some coffee shops do the same thing...where they issue you a code...and some places just have an open setup where you don't have to do anything
