Hi,

I purchased a Canon Pixma MP450 printer/scanner about a year a go and have never been able to scan anything. I talked with customer service and was told that because I previously had a Lexmark X75 All-in-one printer installed, that the twain32.dll file(???) is missing and therefore the computer is not recognizing the scanner. Is there any way that anyone can help me!?

what happens when you try to scan

in your all programs ...look for canon utilities.....click on mp navigater 2.0

your scanner should open there

Thanks for replying! Well MP just sits in limbo when I select Preview or Sscan, then I get the error message that the program will enddown, and that should check the connection, etc.

I will try the 'dll' download and let you know what happens.

After the download, I get a ScanGear MP error: Scanner not available when in use by another application or user.

At least this is something, but what now!
