I have upgragnt.exe running on my computer periodically. Earlier, today, it would run for 20 seconds (I was watch Task Manager), the process would disappear for 1 minute, then start up again. I followed the pattern for 20 minutes - it was pretty faithful. An hour later, when I looked, again, it did not seem to run. As a side effect, if I am in Excel, for example, when this process runs, the cursor changes to the Arrow/Hour Glass cursor.

I searched the www and found only that it was in a process list of 2 other people, but it did not seem to be connected to the issues they were having. What is upgragnt.exe?

Keith,

Yes, it is spelled correctly. (I have checked and double checked it.)

This is where I looked and so why I questioned the spelling
