I knew as soon as i hit enter that i was not gonna be happy. I am now receiving unwanted pop-up ads. I googled oinadserver and was pointed in your direction. I read some posts and hope you can walk me thru the process. I have heard of and seen 'hijack this' logs but have no idea of what to do with one if i was able to create it. i have used computers for quite a while but haven't had to request this type of help before. What's next???

I have followed the first 4 steps with some satisfaction. I did not run CLEANUP because i don't know if I have a 64bit machine. Ad-aware SE and Spybot S&D I run on a regular basis and did this time also. CWShreder found nothing.

When i went to download Ewido from the download link i kept arriving at a site for AVG anti-spyware. I downloaded it and ran the scan. Is Ewido the same as AVG?

TrojanHunter - downloaded and ran. It seems to find a trojan running in memory but can't find the files when it goes to clean things up. Files are missing

The pop-up windows for oinadserver seem to be gone. Haven't gotten one in a couple of days now.

But I have picked up something that adds icons to my desktop and their properties point to something called 'clicklinks.net'. Of course this is very annoying and I would like to kill this process.
